Mark Shumilla

With 26 years of State Farm experience, I have had the privilege of helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most to them. I believe insurance is about more than policies and prices—it’s about understanding each customer’s needs, helping them make informed decisions, and being there when they need us most.

My name is Mark Shumilla, and I’m proud to bring more than two decades of experience to the customers and communities we serve. As a ChFC®, CLU®, and CASL® professional, I’m committed to providing knowledgeable, personal guidance for your auto, home, life, health, business, and other insurance needs.

Before beginning my State Farm career, I attended the University of Rhode Island, where I earned a B.S. in Business Administration as a player-athlete (Football) After graduation, I had the opportunity to continue my career with the Vienna Rangers in Austria. Living in Europe gave me the chance to experience different cultures while traveling throughout Austria, Germany, Hungary, and what was then Czechoslovakia.

Travel continues to be one of my passions, and I’ve now visited 15 countries. When I’m not working with customers, I also enjoy home brewing ales, hiking, and golf.

Family is an important part of my life. My wife, Gina, and I have been happily married for 31 years, and we have three amazing sons.

After 26 years in this business, one thing hasn’t changed: I still enjoy getting to know people, understanding what’s important to them, and helping them protect what they’ve worked hard to build. My team and I would appreciate the opportunity to do the same for you and your family.
